Pollinator Party

FOAP manages a 90 foot long pollinator habitat, home to many diverse native perennial plant species and beneficial pollinator insects year round.

We also have a restoration in progress of a 160 foot long perennial garden. Both gardens are located at the south end of Alexandra Park.

Volunteers and community members join together weekly to get their hands dirty and have fun maintaining these gardens.

Walking Tours

Friends of Alexandra Park runs two types of tours.

Our Tree Tour invites you to become more familiar with our majestic trees that live in Alexandra Park.

Our Historical Tour explores both the park’s and the neighbourhood’s rich history, and how they fit into the fabric of our great city of Toronto.

Tree Inventory

Our tree inventory keeps track of all the trees in Alexandra park.

Volunteers track the number and size of trees, tree species, wildlife who live in the trees, and assess tree damage, size, and age.

We welcome all who are interested to join our Tree Team!
